Meet our Founder
Vincent Cervoni
Vincent's journey in the wine industry began in 2014 when he was sent to Hong Kong to establish the Asian office of the Corsican Wine Board. His mission was to promote and sell the unique yet then-unknown wines of Corsica across the Asia-Pacific region. Through extensive travels and tireless efforts, Vincent built strong relationships with importers, distributors, hotels, restaurants, and wine enthusiasts. He also developed an extensive network of F&B professionals, including sommeliers, critics, and chefs, while gaining valuable expertise in wine export and distribution.
In 2015, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Vincent founded his first company in Hong Kong to import and distribute Corsican wines. This venture provided him with a deep understanding of the import business and established his credibility in the industry.
In 2019, Vincent relocated to London and founded a new company dedicated to helping wineries from Corsica and across France expand their global reach. Under his leadership, the business has expanded, and Karafe now collaborates with over 45 wineries from France, Italy, and South Africa, serving clients, professionals and consumers, in more than 25 countries.
Vincent's dedication and expertise continue to drive the success of the business, making him a respected figure in the international wine community.
